Purple Cabbage from my garden

Purple Cabbage from my garden

I caught this cabbage just splitting which meant it was close to bolting. This is the first time I've grown cabbage so I didn't know when it should be harvested. This is still yummy, but the core is a bit larger than it would be cut younger. Now I know for the rest of the crop.
I got as close as I could focus with my macro lens and tweaked it a bit in post processing to be done to my liking.
