Juvenile Red Tail Hawk

Juvenile Red Tail Hawk

I went home sick 3 hours early from work today. I was laying on my bed when I heard all of the birds flee from my backyard. That usually means a hawk is visiting. Sure enough there was a hawk in my plum tree. It hung around long enough for me to grab my camera and poke my head out the back door for a shot. It took off as soon as I took this. In a perfect world there would be no branches obscuring him. But then, in a perfect world I wouldn't be home sick from work and would have never saw it. Maybe it is a perfect world. It just depends on how you view it.
