We came upon this bear on the path. Ace was looking elsewhere and I said "stop". He almost forgot the rule of no running and I grabbed him by the shirt and told him not to move. The bear started walking toward us. I thought "oh sh*t!". I said to Ace, "Look big, and make noise." We did and the bear looked at us and then turned away. Only then did I relax enough to think to bring the camera up to my face to take a quick shot before the bear left into the woods.
